Warm, rich sound in a footprint the size of your phone.
Courtesy of valves made by rocket scientists - literally.
The Hybrid Valve Headphone Amplifier gives us back the warm rich sound that was lost when transistors took over from valves.
Audio from most computers and portable music players is low resolution and poor quality, and often don't have enough output power to drive the demands of high quality headphones.
Plug the pocket sized amplifier between your device and headphones, allowing your music to pass through real glass tube valves resulting in vastly improved sound quality.
Music will sound warm and rich with greater depth and dynamic range. If you choose the Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) option you will be able to enjoy your music at highest quality possible.
When designing the Valve Amplifier, the first priority was to obtain the best sound possible. The Raytheon 6418 valves are the exact same used to build the guidance system for NASA to send astronauts to the moon - top of the range.
Down to the individual resistors, components are chosen to give the lowest noise and to be virtually distortion free. Each valve is even hand measured before assembly and matched these to be within 1%.
